emple of Israel is a warm caring group of about 165 families. We are affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) and follow the practices of Reform Judaism. Our membership is represented by all ages, from couples with young children and teenagers to single adults and retirees.

Temple of Israel welcomes interfaith couples and wants them to play an active role in all activities of the Congregation. We have a very active Religious School, Sisterhood and Men's Club.

While many of our members are long time congregants, numerous others are relatively new additions to the Wilmington area and to our Congregational family. We greet with enthusiasm, the infusion of new individuals and families, who can contribute their unique perspectives and creative ideas to benefit us all and look forward to welcoming YOU!!

No one will be denied membership due to financial difficulties.  Please contact the Treasurer if you wish to discuss alternate payment arrangements.

Please feel free to attend our Shabbat Services held on Friday evenings at 8:00 PM. You will be welcomed warmly. On the third Friday of each month, throughout the year, at 7:00 PM, we gather for our Family Service.
